Okay, I have to ask: even if someone fired from their job was gay, how would they know it’s because of their sexual orientation? I don’t think their company would tell them, “Oh, sorry, you’re gay? Well, you’re out of here!” Even if you rule out any wrong doing on the employee’s end (being constantly late, poor performance, etc), maybe the higher-ups were simply being cheap-asses and figured they could fill said person’s position with someone younger and less experienced that they didn’t have to pay as much.
